If you would like your students to learn more about careers in Engineering, then I would like to invite you to bring your students to the Shell Eco Marathon, Houston for a --
Behind the Scenes Tour with Purdue Engineering and Purdue Solar Racing.

During the 2 hour visit, high school students will have an opportunity to tour the pits and track, including the Purdue private balcony, with student members of Purdue Solar Racing who have won 1st place in their division the past two years. Visiting high school students will learn more about what goes into creating and competing a solar car, what it is like to study engineering from current students.

Your students will also learn about how they can help their community and the world through engineering during a session with successful Purdue Engineering Alumni living in the Houston area. Past Engineering Alumni speakers have included: the President of Ham-Let North America, Logistics Manager of CEMEX, Program Manager at Lockheed Martin, and an International Space Station Flight Controller/Instructor at NASA.
